OPEN POSITIONS

Box Office Supervisor

Position Title: Box Office Supervisor
Compensation and Time: $18/hr. Part-Time, 20-25 hrs./week during show runs (estimated 15-20 weeks a year)
Position Purpose: The Jungle Theater seeks a Box Office Supervisor to create a welcoming on-site experience for patrons in alignment with the Jungle’s mission and values. This position is primarily responsible for ticketing matters, whether over the phone or on-site; they are the link between patrons and our ticketing software and will need to handle ticket purchases, exchanges, and other patron concerns. The Box Office Supervisor reports to the Artist & Audience Services Manager and works in close communication and collaboration with all other Jungle front of house staff.

The Jungle works under the Small Professional Theatres (SPT-8) contract, which requires a minimum of 66% AEA cast members, plus an AEA stage manager. Our current LOA allows for 38 hours of rehearsal per week and seven shows per week. We employ both AEA members and non-union actors. Equity Membership Candidates are able to accrue work weeks from Jungle contracts.

The Jungle frequently uses directors who belong to Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), as well as designers who are members of United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829. However, these union memberships are not required to work with us.
